About

A labor of love, made by one pair of hands.

LEONITA is a project from my heart and soul.

I make all of it myself. I was born among sage and sand in New Mexico and I work now in Missoula, Montana, and I have had the chance to learn from some of the best silversmiths there are. What comes out of the studio is their craft carried forward with my own inspiration — the landscapes and the patterns I keep returning to.

It is an artistic effort to make people — all people — feel beautiful, and to evoke strength and beauty from within. Sacred jewelry for gods and goddesses. Everything is made in small batches from a hand-carved original; there are no seasons, no discounting to clear stock, and some pieces are made exactly once.

More about me, and where to find me

What I hold to

Three things, without exception

Honest stock

The number on the page is the number in the studio. I would rather sell out than oversell.

Honest teaching

If a class is wrong for you, I will say so before taking your money — not after.

Honest making

Recycled silver, named materials, and no claim about a piece I cannot show you.

Come and see

The shop is open all the time. The studio is open most evenings.
